Itabashi Fireworks Festival【10 Scenic Spots in Itabashi】
The annual Itabashi Firework Festival features approximately 12,000 fireworks that light up the night sky.
This spectacular display is the largest in Tokyo (Shaku-Gosun-Dama) and at 700 metres long, the longest in the Kanto area (Dai Niagara Falls)
The fireworks are set off so close to the spectators' seats that the sound of them echoing in their stomachs is one of the best parts of the event.
*The 10 Scenic Spots: Itabashi Jukei were selected in 2003 as its most memorable landscapes and scenery.
