Ta-asobi (Akatsuka / Tokumaru)【10 Scenic Spots in Itabashi】

The Ta-asobi festival is held at the beginning of each year to pray for a good harvest and the prosperity of the descendants in the Tokumaru and Akatsuka areas, formerly vast paddy fields.
In 1976, the festival was designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset of Japan.
The festival is held in the precincts of the Tokumaru Kitano shrine and the Akatsuka Suwa shrine on the nights of February 11th and February 13th respectively.

*The 10 Scenic Spots: Itabashi Jukei were selected in 2003 as its most memorable landscapes and scenery.
