Tairake Garden

The Taira clan were the chief administrators that ruled the 13 villages of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
The guardian of Noto and vassal of the Hatakeyama clan, said to be a descendant of the Taira Shikibu-no-Taifu, had a vast mansion with a total area of 6,000 tsubo.
The garden inside is a designated Cultural Property of Ishikawa Prefecture, and is said to have been built in the middle of the Edo period.
It is a famous garden that represents both the Muromachi period and the Edo period.
You can remember ages past while soaking up the idyllic atmosphere around the mansion and the flavor of the four seasons.
