Tonomine Nature Center

The Tonomine Highlands is one of the most famous highlands in western Japan, with an area of about 90 hectares of silver grass.
Together with the Mineyama, Yukihiko, and Ikuno Highlands, it is designated as a prefectural nature park.
In spring, pretty flowers bloom on the green earth; in early summer, birds can be heard singing in the cool breeze; in fall, the seven flowers of autumn add color. The scenery created by each of the four seasons is worthy of being called the best in the prefecture.
It was also used as a location for the movie "Norwegian Wood" as well as the taiga dramas “Taira no Kiyomori” and “Gunshi Kanbei.”
