Tokyo Kyushu Ferry (Yokosuka Ferry Terminal)
Ferries that connect Yokosuka and Shinmoji in about 21 hours went into commission on July 1st, 2021.
The two newly-built ferries are named "Hamayu" (Yokosuka) and "Soreiyu" (Kitakyushu).
The source of the names are flowers from the two cities of Yokosuka and Kitakyushu. The ferries will operate six trips a week, excluding Sunday.
The ferry terminal is a harbor facility, which everyone can use anytime. In addition to shopping at its stores, you can enjoy a sweeping view of Sarushima island and the Mabori Kaigan coast.
Each ferry is furnished onboard with the following: single rooms where you can stay with your pet; luxurious saunas and an open-air bath where you can feel the refreshing sea breeze; a sports gym; a barbeque area; and a home theater room where you can appreciate movies and a planetarium.
