Saginomori Monument (Inside Hazama Park)
Legend has it that when Oda Nobunaga was marching toward Okehazama, two white herons flew upward from Atsuta Jingu Shrine and guided his army onward.
A monument based on this legend was built here in 1876 (Meiji 9), when it is claimed that a heron came and landed on the spot.
