Oohazama Wetlands

Designated a natural municipal monument, this spring wetland of 2290 m² contains a valuable ecosystem formed by a variety of aquatic and marsh plants such as Drosera tokaiensis, Drosera rotundifolia, Utricularia caerata and other species typical of the Tokai region, as well as northern species such as beaksedge and ibomizu moss.
These wetlands are open to the public only on limited days between July and October, so don't miss out! Please check the Toyoake City website for details.
