Obama jinja Shrine

The Obama jinja shrine, bearing the sword and plum-bowl crest of the Maeda family.
has a long history.
The main shrine, built by the Kaga clan in 1832, was moved to its present location in 1889.

In the Gongen-mori forest, in the northern part of Uchinada, there remains a foundation stone of the old shrine, which has been designated as a cultural asset of Uchinada Town.
