Kisaichi Maruyama Tumulus Park
The Sakiichiyama Kofun is a large round burial mound, 81m in diameter and 10m in height, making it the largest in Kyoto Prefecture.
Built about 1,600 years ago, this large mound has become a symbol of the middle reaches of the Yura River.
The armour and jade beads excavated from the mound are on display at the Ayabe City Museum.
