Nearly 1000 cherry trees grow alongside this stretch of river running 2km north to south along the Arakawa Super Embankment.
The Komatsugawa 1000 Cherry Blossom Festival is held each spring with various attractions to enjoy such as stage events, pony rides, and food booths.
