Yogo-no-Matsu Pine Tree at Zenyo-ji Temple

This black pine tree, designated a national natural monument, is said to be over 600 years old.
The name "Yogo" refers to the appearances of gods and Buddha in this world.
While this pine tree only measures 8 meters in height, its branches stretch out to a width of 31 meters east to west and 28 meters north to south, making it the largest of its kind in Japan.
