Furou Waterfall

Furou Waterfall, named by the townspeople, is located about 18 km from the city center, and is about 45 m high and 10 m wide.
To get to the waterfall, take National Route 12, turn east at the intersection with Town Route 15 (Naie/Urausu Line), pass under the elevated road of the Do-O Expressway, and follow the road that runs almost parallel to the mainstream of the Naie River for a while.
On the way, you will see two huts, one managed by Bibai-shi and the other, Naie-cho.
After passing them, you will come to the entry point of the Bibai Mountain Climbing Route.
The end of the forest road from the entry point of the Bibai Mountain Climbing Route is the Furou waterfall.

*It is possible to reach the destination by car, but you will need a 4WD vehicle with a high running capacity.
*There is no cell phone service.
*The road is open from late May to late October and is closed during the winter season.
*The area is a brown bear habitat, so extreme caution is required when entering the forest.
