Daichiin Temple is famous for Meganekoubou, who wears glasses.
Legend has it that once upon a time, a blind worshiper prayed to the Migawari (vicarious) Daishi priest and his eye was healed, but the priest's eye was damaged instead.
Since then, he has been wearing the glasses left behind by the worshiper.
There are also many talismans related to the eyes.
