Hinaga Omanto Festival

The origin of the festival is said to be a prayer for rain and a thank-you ceremony, and the horses, decorated with saddles with attached sacred Shinto staffs and rolls with votive markers, neckpieces, nosepieces, etc., and colorfully dressed pullers parade around to the accompaniment of music.
It is designated as a municipal intangible folk cultural asset.
