Japan Toy Museum
The museum consists of six earthen storehouses with white walls, and always exhibits 5,000 items (there are about 90,000 items in the collection), including Japanese local toys, modern toys, chirimen crepe work, and toys and dolls from around the world.
In addition to the permanent collection, special and temporary exhibitions are held seasonally in two buildings.
It has received high praise from overseas, too, as one of the world's leading toy museums.
