Shinomiya River
The Shinomiya River is a small river diverging from the Genbe River.
It is said that its name is derived from Izu Shinomiya Hirose Shrine.
As you go up the river, you will see a water tower for simplified water supply service, which was built in 1930.
In the past, spring water from Mt. Fuji was pumped up to the top of the water tower, supplying it to about 150 households in the vicinity.
