The Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Museum

The Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Museum exhibits valuable historical material about Ryoma Sakamoto, his personality, achievements, and ideas.
The museum is the perfect introduction to Ryoma.

The museum opened in 1991 on 15 November, Ryoma's birthday, and had a grand re-opening in April 2018.
The museum stands in Katsurahama Park and offers a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean horizon from its "blank stage" and rooftop observation deck.
