Tokuyama Zoo

The park was opened in March 1960 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the former Tokuyama City administration.
The zoo is located in the middle of the city, so it has great transportation access.
Its renewal is currently underway, and there are plenty of facilities to experience and observe, such as the largest elephant house in Japan, a penguin pool where you can watch penguins swim dynamically, and a bird watching station.
There is also a food court, so you can leisurely enjoy a lunch in the park.
