Shunan City Kaiten Memorial Museum

It is a facility to learn about peace through the history of the human torpedo "Kaiten".
The panel exhibition introduces the history, historical background, life at that time, etc., by focusing on relics and suicide notes related to Kaiten.
Near the memorial hall, there are also remains of the actual training base and the tunnel that carried the Kaiten.

Transportation: 44 minutes by ferry or 18-34 minutes by passenger ship from Tokuyama Port (normal season). Disembark at "Umashima Port", 10 minutes on foot

Groups (30 people or more): Adult 250 yen
