Tsuru Ikoinosato Exchange Center

Tsuru Ikoinosato was established with the aim of coexisting people and cranes.
This facility conducts lifelong learning activities such as crane protection, research on cranes, exchanging and sharing information related to cranes, community activities, and sports activities.
Hooded cranes arrive in late October every year and hibernate here in Yashiro before moving to their hometown of Siberia in early March of the following year.

Transportation: From "Takamizu Station" on the JR Gantoku Line, take the Bocho Bus bound for "Yashiro Uogiri" and get off in front of the government office.
After getting off at Sanyo Expressway Kumage IC, turn left at the first traffic light and go north on Prefectural Road 8.
From National Highway No. 2 "Hara Intersection", go north on Prefectural Highway No. 8
