Hachinohe Art Museum

Hachinohe Art Museum reopened in 2021 under the theme of "An Artistic Farm of Discovery and Learning: Planting Seeds of Potential, Nurturing People, and Inspiring the Future of Hachinohe for 100 Years to Come."

The Hachinohe Art Museum has a collection of approximately 3,000 works of art that convey the beauty and culture of Hachinohe.
The museum offers exhibitions and projects where visitors can participate and have fun, incorporating community development and learning elements.

Transportation

【By train】
Take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen to Hachinohe Station from Tokyo Station (approx. 3 hours) or Shin-Aomori Station (approx. 30 minutes). From Hachinohe Station, take the JR Hachinohe Line and get off at Hon-Hachinohe Station (about 10 minutes).Walk for approx. 10 min.

【By bus】
From the bus stop #1 in front of the east exit of Hachinohe Station, board a bus bound for the city center (approx. 20 minutes). Get off at the downtown terminal (Mikka-machi or Yoka-machi). Walk for approx. 2 min.

【By plane】
From Misawa Airport, take the airport shuttle bus (approx. 55 min.) to Hachinohe Yokamachi stop. Walk for approx. 2 min.

【By car】
Approx. 15 minutes from the Hachinohe Interchange on the Hachinohe Expressway toward the city center.
