Meotoiwa (Married Couple) Rocks
Under the lighthouse at the tip of the Teina coast in Yasu, Konan city, are a pair of rocks that are snuggled together in the ocean.
These “meotoiwa,” or “Married couple rocks,” are each about the same size, so they are a rare example of “meotoiwa” where both genders are equal.
