Mejiro Garden

Toshima-ku’s Mejiro garden is part of the ward’s plan to globalise, by giving people a space to interact with nature and traditional culture, and was constructed in November, 1990.
In the center of the garden lies a large pond, with footpaths around the park that follow the Chisenkaiyu style of Japanese garden arrangement.
The garden condenses so many natural views in a limited space, and visitors can enjoy such views while taking a stroll around the garden.
