Home to the Scarlet Dwarf, Japan's smallest dragonfly with a length of about 2 cm, Eriocaulon nudicuspe, with pretty white flowers the size of your pinky finger-tip, and carnivorous plant Drosera tokaiensis, it is a treasure trove of biodiversity.
