Sugie Noh Theater

【National Registered Tangible Cultural Asset】
Built in 1917 (Taisho Year 6), this is the oldest existing Noh theater in Osaka Prefecture.
The stage design is based on the "Nishi Honganji Kita Butai (North Stage)," which is designated as a national treasure.
It has a white sand bar and three pine trees planted to separate the Noh stage from the L-shaped viewing platform (audience seating).
The stage is decorated with a plaque with "Kokka (National Pride)" written on it by the last lord of the Kishiwada domain, Nagamoto Okabe, himself.
