Higashiyoka-higata Visitor Center Higasasu

This facility offers visitors the opportunity to experience the value and charm of Higashiyoka-higata, a Ramsar-listed wetland.
The exhibit introduces the tidal mudflat through videos, models and specimens.
It is home to a variety of animals such as the largest number of shorebirds in Japan, goggle-eyed gobies and warasubo unique to the Ariake Sea, and more.
Visitors can also enjoy a panoramic view of the Ariake Sea and Saga Plain from the observation deck.
