Saga Prefectural Art Museum

This facility was opened in 1983 next to the Saga Prefectural Museum.
It mainly exhibits and displays modern and contemporary art related to Saga.
The permanent exhibition "OKADA-ROOM" presents the masterpieces of Okada Saburosuke, who was born in Saga and was a major figure in Western-style Japanese modern painting.
Okada's studio, built some 110 years ago, has been relocated and restored and is now open to the public.
