Jofuku Choju-kan (The Jofuku Long Life Center)

This is a museum dedicated to the legend of Xu Fu/Jofuku, who is said to have come to Japan under the orders of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, in search of the elixir of life.
In addition to exhibiting materials and documents related to Xu Fu/Jofuku, the museum has a medicinal botanical garden with 500 species of medicinal herbs and trees, such as wild ginger (Asarum nipponicum).
