Yoshikawa: Hatsutani Valley

The water that seeps out of the Myoken mountain range creates a mountain stream with sandbars and pools of water.
Birds, dragonflies, and butterflies make appearances here, making it the ideal place for families with children who enjoy playing in the water, or for those who enjoy BBQing.
(BBQing on an open fire is prohibited; take all garbage back with you)
This kind of place can be found about a 15-minute leisurely walk away from Myoken-Guchi Station on the Nose Electric Railway, Myoken Line.
Parking lots are almost full from early summer to early autumn, except on weekdays.
Getting here by train and walking is easy.

Although they're becoming somewhat rare, in early summer you can enjoy watching the dance of the fireflies down to around the railway crossing of the Nose Electric Railway downriver.
