Mt. Nantai

Mt. Nantai

The mountain is located in the southeast area of Daigo town and has an elevation of 654 meters.
It has a masculine appearance (as the Japanese name, "male body mountain," suggests) with gentle slopes on the north and the east side and precipitous cliffs on the west and the south side.
From the summit, you can see the overall flow of the Kuji River.
On very sunny days, you can see Nasu, Mt. Bandai, other mountains, and faraway areas like the Pacific Ocean and Mt. Fuji.
To the south of the mountain is Yuzawakyo, a difficult mountain climbing course ascending a mountain stream through scattered giant rocks.
In Yuzawa-genryu marshes, you can see the natural strength of Fudo Falls, powerfully and directly falling in between a natural forest into the basin.
