Shimoda park is a woodland park rich with nature. In the spring, the whole park becomes covered with cherry blossoms, and the view from the park’s iconic observation deck is truly a sight a behold.
You can also enjoy activities in the athletic field and camping area in the summer and the colors of the falling leaves in autumn. In winter, you can observe winter migratory birds at Magitsutsumi, one of only a few swan migration sites in the prefecture.
