Minami Do-ri Shopping Street "Humming Road"
It is a shopping district that was chosen as one of the top 100 for the "Hokkaido Machidukuri", and in 1991, it was chosen as part of the country's first "Satisfactory Advertising Landscape Areas."
It is divided into three streets, named "San Francisco Avenue," "London Avenue," and "Boehne Avenue," and stores gathered in western style buildings line the streets.
Every year, in September, there is an event known as "Coming Paradise," in which around 70 street vendors line up, forming a paradise for pedestrians, and the event is bustling with visitors that come from outside the town.
