Baiinzen-ji Temple
Baiinzen-ji is an old temple built during the time when the Ashikaga family was in power. It belongs to the Myoshinji Sect of the Rinzai School of Buddhism.
Graves of people such as Jirocho, Omasa, and Komasa are at this temple. There also stands Japan’s only bronze statue of Jirocho depicted as a chivalrous outlaw.
