MMichinoeki (Roadside Station) Kamaishi Sennin Toge

Located 887m above sea level, Sennin-Toge famously featured in the book 'Tono Monogatari'.
The Michinoeki (Roadside Station) Kamaishi Sennin-Toge is a location that connects Sennin-Toge Road with National Route 283.
Behind the building flows the clear waters of the Kasshi River, where ayu fish swim freely. Here you can taste food you'll only find in Kamaishi, such as Kamaishi ramen.
Persimmon cider made from Kamaishi's Kasshi persimmons, as well as Fujiyu soy sauce soft serve ice cream are also sold here.
Sennin-Toge itself is a famous route for driving.
