The Fune Meguri, a leisurely boat tour of the Onogawa that flows through Koedo Sawara in Katori, Chiba, is a relaxing time in which you can fully enjoy the atmosphere of the Edo Period as if you had slipped back in time.
You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of each of the four seasons while looking at the white-walled storehouses and merchant houses from the upper reaches of the river.
You can also experience the history and culture of Sawara through the light commentary of the boatman. In particular, the rows of cherry trees in full bloom during the cherry blossom season and the townscape colored by the autumn leaves season are exceptional.
