Inspiring for both the sea turtles and sunsets

Nagata Inakahama Beach, with its white sandy beach stretching about 1km, is one of Japan's major sea turtle nesting grounds.
It was registered under UNESCO's Ramsar Convention in 2005.
For sea turtle protection, beach access is restricted at night from May to September. If you wish to observe turtle nesting, please join a sea turtle observation tour (reservation required).
It's also a sunset viewing spot where you can see the sun setting behind Kuchinoerabu Island in the evening.
