Nara-machi koushi house

A full-scale reproduction of a traditional town house

This facility faithfully recreates a traditional machiya (townhouse) of Naramachi, allowing visitors to observe its architecture and layout not only from the outside but also inside.
You can experience the traditional lifestyle of old Nara up close. The space also serves as an information center about Naramachi and a relaxing gathering place for both tourists and locals.
