Umi-no-Furusatokan
The “Umi-no-Furusatokan”(Sea Home Museum), built on a hill above Cape Ogon, is a local museum where visitors can learn about Rumoi’s history and culture.
It features a variety of tools that were used for herring fishing in the past, as well as a piano used by Masaru Sato, a composer associated with Rumoi.
