Bertz (Erwin von Bertz) was a German doctor who was the first to pay attention to the hot spring treatment effect of Hakone.
He taught medicine to Japan for 27 years in the Meiji era and contributed to the development of the medical world.
The location of the “Numazu Imperial Villa”, which was built in 1868, is also closely related.

Japanese bush warbler, a bird that heralds spring

The bird is called a warbler (Cettia diphone).
During the Edo period, the dung beetle was used to remove makeup.
