Japan's Three Most Beautiful Trunks Himeshara

Himeshara (scientific nameStewartia monadelpha) is a deciduous tree from the camellia family native to Japan.
The thin, smooth, reddish-brown bark of Himeshara is called Japan's Three Great Miki along with Aogiri and Birch.
At Hakone Park, staff members maintain the beauty by polishing the skin of this Himeshara.
Around June, white flowers resembling camellia bloom, but the size is one size smaller and about 2 cm.
From the state of quietly blooming in the leaves, the flower word "humility",
I also use the word "loveliness" because of the small white flowers that are neat and clean.
The small leaves provide a cool appearance in summer and bright red foliage in autumn.
Please come and visit us to see the seasonal Himeshara!
