Hot Spring Association Spring Source No.2
The Association Spring Source No.2 has water flow temperature of 85℃～88℃ and a output range of 400～600 l/min.
It has the highest recorded spring temperature of all spring sources in Yamagata Prefecture.
The hot spring is so prone to mineral deposit buildup that it stops flowing unless the deposits are removed by a drilling process once a month.
There are a total of 21 spring sources in the Hijiori Onsen area (Hijiori Onsen: 17, Kogane Onsen: 4).
