Former Hijiori Post Office


The office opened on April 1, 1893 (Meiji Era 6), and simultaneously performed pickup and delivery mail services.
The current building was rebuilt in 1937 (Showa Era 12) and was in use until 1995 (Heisei Era 7).
The building is known for its iconic 〒 post symbol on its window.
The red mailbox is currently still in use.
