Kameishi (Turtle Stone)

According to “Buko Nenpyo," in 1806, Benshudo, who believed in Benzaiten, copied the Konkomyo Saisho'o Kyo (Sovereign Kings of the Golden Light Sutra) and buried it there, and when he looked for a stone to place over it, he found a stone with a turtle shell pattern and dedicated it.
It is one of the four famous stones in Kamakura and was also called “ Zoroku-ishi."
