Hachinohe and Festival Events

In Hachinohe and its surrounding areas, there are various festivals that have been passed down from generation to generation in that region.
In addition to Hachinohe Enburi and Hachinohe Sansha Taisai, both of which are designated as Important Intangible Folk Cultural Properties of Japan, there are various festivals held in each region, such as Obon, an event held during the time when the spirits of family members and ancestors return to this world.
In the Festival Theater, you can watch ten festival documentary videos.
