Shibokusa Sengen-jinja Shrine

Shibokusa Sengen-jinja Shrine was founded in 807.
The roof is thatched with layers of Japanese cypress (hinoki) bark shingles, an ancient Japanese historical technique, and the main shrine building is in the sangensha nagare-zukuri style, one of the Japanese shrine architectural styles, and is designed as an important cultural property by the village.
The main shrine enshrines Konohanasakuyahime no Mikoto, the guardian deity of Mt. Fuji, with statues of the male deities Takagai and Inukai on the left and right.
