KEIO TAKAOSAN ONSEN / GOKURAKUYU

A soothing moment of peace amid the natural beauty of Mt. Takao

Keio Takaosan Onsen/Gokurakuyu is an onsen (natural hot spring) facility located next to Takaosanguchi Station on the Keio Takao line where you can spend time relaxing amid the soothing natural beauty of Mt. Takao.
The onsen is also highly recommended for relaxation following sightseeing and climbing Mt. Takao.

Bath towels and other bathing accessories are available for rent, making it easy to enjoy the onsen even if you show up empty handed. The water itself is an alkaline simple hot spring that runs clear to faint white.
It is said to have positive health effects on ailments such as muscle and joint pain, stiff shoulders and other joints, bruises, poor circulation, and fatigue.
The onsen baths contain indoor style baths that change with the season called "kawariburo" as well as cypress baths (micro bubbles), saunas, and cold baths (approximately 17.1℃).
There are also natural open air outdoor baths (warm and hot water), carbonated stone baths, and seated baths.

Surrounded by the abundance of nature, the hotel is fully equipped with facilities such as a restaurant where you can enjoy menus featuring seasonal ingredients, a relaxation facility, and a souvenir shop. For those arriving with lots of luggage such as those with mountain climbing gear, rest assured that there are luggage storage lockers available for use.
