Observation Onsen Honobonoyu

In 1989, with funds of 100 million yen from the national "Hometown Creation Project" the hot spring was excavated down to 1,500 metres below ground level, where it has a temperature of 45.2°C and a flow rate of 300 litres per minute.

The baths are located on the first floor, overlooking the Kahoku Lagoon, and offering excellent views of the Hakusan and Tateyama mountain ranges.

The brown, mild chloride spring water will keep you warm, and after bathing, you can relax on the large tatami floor mat.
