Kamogawa Matsushima Island

A beautiful, truly picturesque location with a total of seven large and small islands, including Arashima Island, Bentenjima Island, and Ushima Island.
The origin of its name is due to the fact it evokes memories of Matsushima in Miyagi Prefecture, one of the three great views of Japan.
The thick green pine trees that grow dense on the islands and the white beaches that are also lined with pine trees are lauded as the greatest sight on the outer coast of Chiba Prefecture.
It has also been chosen as one of the "new 100 landscapes of Japan".
