Wakayama Bokusui Museum

The Wakayama Bokusui Museum opened in 1987, and it exhibits calligraphy paper, manuscripts, letters, and other items related to Bokusui in chronological order, so that visitors can trace the poet’s life and achievements.
Wakayama Bokusui was a poet who loved traveling, nature, and people. During the 43 years of his life, he wrote 8794 tanka poems.
He also left behind travelogues full of poetic descriptions and essays.
