Aki City Museum of History and Folklore

There are a great many valuable antiques and ancient documents handed down in the Goto family that are stored and on display here.
There are also objects tied to Yataro Iwasaki, the founder of the Mitsubishi conglomerate, Ryutaro Hirota, celebrated composer of children's songs, and Ruiko Kurosawa, the rebellious journalist who helped spread the popularity of translated novels and pulp fiction, among others. Additionally, folk utensils used in everyday life and archives are also on display.
